Yota: Russians spend by 63% more traffic on mobile games in Jan–Jun

MOSCOW, Sep 21 (PRIME) -- Russians’ Internet traffic of the 20 most popular mobile games increased 63% on the year in January–June, and the top gaming applications were Roblox, PUBG: Battlegrounds, and Mobile Legends, mobile operator Yota said on Thursday in a statement.

“The preferences of Russians are topped by the online platform for game creation Roblox, which accounted for most of the consumed traffic and the indicator increased 68% on the year. The second place belongs to shooter PUBG: Battlegrounds, subscribers played it by 2.6 times more actively in 2023 than a year earlier,” Yota said.

“The third line in the rating of games with the highest traffic is taken by multiplayer game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang with a 72% increase. The top five also included War Thunder and World of Tanks,” the operator added.

Apple iPhone 11 was the most popular smartphone for mobile games. The top devices also included Xiaomi Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C, Samsung Galaxy A12, and Xiaomi POCO X3 Pro.
